Vegan Brownies from Superfood Bakery

Vegan Brownies from Superfood Bakery

Vegan Brownies with raspberries and peanut Sauce

I recently baked some delicious vegan brownies I was sent from Superfood Bakery. They make natural baking mixes free from chemicals which are all vegan friendly and gluten free.

Other mixes include:

  • Pancakes
  • Chocolate cake
  • Banana loaf
  • Cookies

I’ve got some pancakes and cookies to try next that I’m looking forward to!

Quick and easy – great for kids

The mixes are all made in under 20 minutes, so you have a delicious sweet treat with minimal effort and time. Great for when you’re short on time, or to do some baking the kids.

Each baking mix has an alternative ingredients list given for you to stir through the mix, giving you a vegan option too. I added vegetable oil, water and maple syrup, gave it a good stir then baked for 15 minutes. I did bake a little longer than stated because the raspberries add extra moisture, so in total it was probably 25 minutes.

Finishing touches

To finish them off I sprinkled a few flaked almonds and made a quick peanut drizzle. This drizzle is a really good go-to sauce you can make to use with lots of sweet treats such as cakes, ice cream, tarts or cheesecakes. It’s made of peanut butter, a little syrup such as maple or golden and water. Just whisk it all up until you have a smooth consistency you can use for toppings.

I served the brownies as a dessert by adding a scoop of ice cream, some more peanut sauce, and a few fresh raspberries.
