Superfood Chocolate Brownie Crisps

Superfood Chocolate Brownie Crisps

These chocolate brownie crisps are a tasty new product from Superfood Bakery. They’re a delicious combination of brownies and crisps. Think the flavours of brownies yet the texture and portability of crisps. They’re gluten-free and vegan so can be enjoyed by many. They’re great for snacking on however you can use them for so much more! Here, I’ve created a few tasty ideas for how you can use the brownie crisps. All three ideas don’t involved any cooking so are really quick to put together.

Three delicious flavours

The brownie crisps come in three varieties to choose from:

  • Double Chocolate Chip
  • Sea Salt
  • Choc Chip & Hazelnut

Find out what I created with them below!

Hazelnut & Chocolate Pots

These decadent chocolate pots are using the Choc Chip & Hazelnut brownie crisps as a crumble base. There’s no cooking involved with this idea so really quick to put together. I even used pre-chopped hazelnuts so no chopping either! To make the chocolate pots I’ve roughly crushed the brownie crisps in a bowl with the back of a spoon. Then I’ve packed the brownie crumble into the base of a small glass. I’ve then layered up the glass with some dairy free chocolate & hazelnut spread (yes that exists!) followed by pouring over some Alpro caramel dessert, then scattered a few crushed hazelnuts – I used the roasted ones.

These chocolate pots can be devoured straight away or left to chill in the fridge for a couple of hours (if you can wait) for it to slightly set.

Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Only three ingredients and a blender are needed to make this velvety chocolate mousse. Blend the avocados, cocoa powder, and maple syrup in a food processor until smooth. Serve it in small bowls with slices of the brownie crisps to scoop up the mousse. The crunchy sea salt brownie crisps go really well with this idea. The hint of salt marries well with the rich chocolate mousse. The full recipe for the avocado mousse is at the bottom of this page.

Sprinkle on your favourite hot drink

Whether it’s a coffee, hot chocolate, turmeric latte, or mocha – you can dress it up with a squirt of cream and a crumbling of brownie crisps. Add a few extras like honeycomb or caramel sauce to turn your drink into a mini dessert. Don’t forget to save a few brownie crisps for some dunking!
